Job summary

Guardian Life Insurance is seeking an Annuity New Business Operations Case Specialist to support accurate processing of annuity new business and post-issue transactions. You will prioritize casework, coordinate asset transfers, and manage communications with contract owners.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Compliance to launch new products, while developing deep product expertise and improving controls and efficiency across operations. Exceptional service outcomes are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-focused service or operations environment.
• Strong organizational, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and business functions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review, prioritize, and process annuity new business and post-issue transactions according to service and quality standards.
• Initiate asset transfer requests by preparing documentation and coordinating with financial institutions for timely completion.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls to obtain outstanding requirements and support new business case completion.
• Prepare, distribute, and mail contract-related documents to annuity contract owners.
• Collaborate with Operations Case Managers to identify and implement process improvements.
• Partner with Product Management, Compliance, and cross-functional stakeholders to support launching new products and initiatives.
• Develop expertise in annuity products, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Achieve or exceed performance expectations related to quality, accuracy, productivity, and customer experience.
