Job summary

IndyHumane is seeking an Annual Fund Manager to lead the organization’s annual giving program, oversee donor cultivation, and optimize fundraising campaigns across direct mail and digital channels. The role focuses on growing operating revenue, donor retention, and expanding the donor pipeline.

You will work closely with the Chief Development Officer and Development team to ensure donor communications reflect IndyHumane’s mission and funding priorities, while advancing donors toward broader

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of fundraising, development, donor relations, annual giving, or related experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the fundraising process and donor-centered practices.
• Experience using CRM or fundraising database software.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, planning, execution and evaluation of IndyHumane’s annual fund program.
• Develop annual giving strategies to increase revenue, participation, retention, and donor value.
• Coordinate campaigns across direct mail, digital, and integrated channels with internal teams and vendors.
• Establish fundraising plans, timelines, goals and performance measures.
• Manage donor acquisition, renewal, retention, upgrades and re-engagement.
• Maintain donor portfolio with cultivation, solicitation, stewardship plans.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Communications and Development staff on donor-centered messaging.
