Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking an Annual Fund Officer to advance the Foundation's mission by leading and growing the annual giving program across North Carolina's Pardee Foundation service area. You will manage donor portfolios, develop giving strategies, and collaborate with hospital leadership to expand philanthropic support.

The role focuses on donor cultivation, stewardship, and employee giving initiatives, with responsibility for reporting metrics and donor education events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three or more years of nonprofit fundraising experience with emphasis on annual giving.
• Demonstrated success in donor cultivation and stewardship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Foundation's annual giving program through strategic donor cultivation, stewardship, and fundraising campaigns.
• Manage the Pardee Foundation's donor society and engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate annual donor education and engagement events for Moving Mountains members and prospective donors.
• Manage a portfolio of 75–125 current and prospective donors through regular cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Track annual giving KPIs, including donor acquisition, retention, participation, and revenue growth.
• Support the Foundation's Grateful Patient Program in collaboration with hospital leadership and clinical teams.
• Lead the Pardee Teammate Giving Program, Stronger Together and develop strategies to increase participation.
• Build relationships with hospital teammates to strengthen the culture of philanthropy.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward annual fund donors; secure sponsorships for Foundation programs and events.
