Job summary

The Bloomington-Normal YMCA seeks a Director of Annual Giving to lead the association's annual fundraising strategy, expand donor support, and strengthen stewardship. You will collaborate with the CEO, Sr.

Director of Marketing and Brand Management, and the development team to build a sustainable, relationship-based culture of philanthropy that fuels program access and community initiatives. This role requires strategic planning, strong communication, and hands-on management of the annual giving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; nonprofit fundraising experience preferred.
• Experience building donor relationships and stewardship programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication across diverse audiences.
• Ability to collaborate with board members, volunteers, and leadership.
• Familiarity with CRM, campaigns, and donor segmentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the annual giving strategy and campaigns.
• Create and manage the annual giving calendar with goals and timelines.
• Set measurable fundraising goals and monitor progress with reporting.
• Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward annual donors.
• Implement a structured donor stewardship and acknowledgment plan.
• Partner with the CEO and board to engage leadership in fundraising.
