Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio is seeking a mission-minded Donor Relations Officer to lead the annual giving program and craft engaging donor communications. You will manage campaigns, collaborate with Marketing and Operations, and ensure timely acknowledgments while expanding support through top donors, monthly giving, and federated programs.

The role requires strong copywriting, design sense, and project management skills, plus experience with donor databases.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in copywriting and design conceptualization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to write compelling donor communications, reports, and business correspondence.
• Ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong project management across departments and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with donor databases and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual giving program including top annual donors, monthly donors, federated giving, patient giving, and staff giving.
• Stays current on annual giving trends and best practices, integrating innovative marketing approaches to elevate fundraising efforts.
• Projects manage annual fund solicitations, coordinating with external partners to print and distribute materials.
• Writes compelling copy for solicitation campaigns and develops initial design concepts with Marketing to reflect the organization’s voice.
• Partners with Stewardship to implement timely, meaningful donor acknowledgments and mails donor letters.
• Manages donor inquiries via email and phone.
