YMCA of Greater New York is seeking an Annual Giving Specialist to support the Y's Annual Fund and endurance/peer-to-peer fundraising initiatives. The role coordinates activities across branches, internal teams, and external partners to grow donor engagement and revenue.

Responsibilities include producing citywide fundraising materials, managing event communications, and maintaining digital fundraising platforms. A collaborative, donor-centric mindset is essential.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2-3 years nonprofit development or donor engagement experience.
• Experience with Annual Fund, monthly giving, campaigns, or peer-to-peer fundraising.
• Strong writing and communication skills for donor content.
• Experience with CRMs and email marketing platforms.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate citywide annual appeals, campaigns, and endurance events with external partners.
• Recruit, onboard, and engage endurance event participants and manage fundraising communications.
• Collaborate with Donor Ops on participant registration and vendor logistics for endurance events.
• Serve as liaison to Branch staff and manage Annual Fund tools and materials.
• Guide local fundraising efforts and coordinate Association-wide communications.
• Coordinate annual giving outreach calendar and monitor email performance.
• Maintain digital fundraising platforms and webpages content updates.
• Assist Fund Development with events and special projects.
