Job summary

Oakton College Education Foundation seeks an Annual Giving Coordinator to lead a comprehensive giving program, advise on strategy, and drive direct mail, digital solicitations, events, and stewardship efforts. The role requires coordinating with campus teams to engage diverse donor constituencies and improve donor retention and upgrades.

You'll manage campaigns, analyze data, and craft communications that showcase the impact of philanthropy on Oakton College students and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Philanthropy or related field or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years of annual giving fundraising experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customer-service focus.
• Proficient with fundraising software/CRM (Raiser's Edge, Salesforce) and data analysis.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Adobe Pro; strong writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends and travel between campuses.

Responsibilities

• Advise on and execute an annual giving plan to acquire, retain, and upgrade donors across channels.
• Manage and implement annual campaigns, including Employee Giving and events.
• Collaborate with Foundation team to tailor strategies for different donor segments.
• Plan and oversee foundation events: purpose, goals, budget, sponsorships, logistics.
• Utilize data analytics to track and optimize campaigns; report on key metrics and trends.
• Develop messaging and collateral to demonstrate impact on student success and institutional excellence.
