Job summary

Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano is seeking an Annual Fund Manager to lead the donor acquisition, retention, and upgrade strategies, directing a team of fundraising professionals for the Annual Fund program.

In partnership with the VP of Development and Communications, you will refine strategy, oversee mail and email campaigns, and measure performance using data to drive growth and donor retention.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of fundraising experience.
• Three or more years of supervisory experience.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use data analysis to evaluate program performance and make decisions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• California driver’s license and insurability.
• Experience in nonprofit or community-based environment.
• Adaptability and teamwork oriented.
• Leadership and performance coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overarching fundraising strategy for the Annual Fund program.
• Manage all Annual Fund activities including direct mail, email, and monthly giving.
• Coordinate with vendors and serve as primary liaison for annual fund initiatives.
• Write and oversee design of mail/email solicitations and stewardship pieces.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive stewardship program for annual fund donors.
• Collaborate with Leadership Gifts to align the Annual Fund as a donor pipeline.
• Measure performance with data and adjust strategies as needed.
• Plan and manage the annual giving budget.
