Job summary

Community Youth Center in San Francisco seeks a Development Manager to strengthen donor programs and support major giving, campaigns, and events. You will manage donor systems, reports, and engagement assets, partnering with leadership, programs, and finance to grow contributed revenue.

Reporting to the Director of Development and Communications, you will craft donor-facing materials, coordinate stewardship, and build a data-driven fundraising operation aligned with CYC’s growth plan and equity

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of nonprofit development or fundraising experience.
• Experience supporting individual giving, donor stewardship, campaigns, or events.
• Strong writing skills for donor communications and reports.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work across teams.
• Commitment to youth development and equity.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Maintain donor and prospect pipeline and prepare materials for meetings.
• Support Executive Director's engagement with major donors.
• Draft donor communications and pledge reminders.
• Develop donor-facing materials and campaigns.
• Plan and execute fundraising events and sponsorships.
• Generate development reports and tracking dashboards.
