Job summary

Howard Area Community Center is seeking an Annual Fund Coordinator to grow individual giving through Direct Mail Appeals, events, and donor stewardship. The role focuses on building donor relationships, coordinating mailings, and collaborating with the Development team to advance fundraising goals.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in fundraising, experience with donor CRM databases, and a strong written and verbal communication skill set to engage donors and move the pipeline forward.

Responsibilities

• Thank donors and steward them; make appropriate asks.
• Identify potential major donors in the Annual Fund pool.
• Coordinate two annual mailings (Year End and Spring Appeals).
• Strategize about donor segments and prospects with Partnerships Coordinator.
• Collaborate with Communications Coordinator on design and content for appeals.
