Job summary

LF Studios is seeking a Controls Specialist to design, program, and optimize control systems for animatronics and entertainment robotics. You will integrate electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic motion while ensuring reliable performance and travel for on-site installations worldwide.

Collaborating with mechanical engineers and creative leads, you’ll craft control layouts with CAD, draft schematics, and troubleshoot complex circuitry. Weigl Controls experience is a plus for advanced projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited school.
Experience with control systems and robotics preferred or ready to learn.

Responsibilities

Design and implement control systems for animatronics, integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components.
Program and configure control architectures, reason about system reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, creative leads, and project managers to ensure integration and performance.
Use CAD to design control layouts, schematics, and component assemblies.
Travel to client sites for installations, troubleshooting, and support.
