Job summary

NOCO Humane is seeking a Pet Adoption Enrichment & Transport Coordinator to join the Behavior department. This full-time hourly role coordinates animal transports between campuses and partners, trains volunteers, and ensures enrichment for shelter animals.

The position requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, customer service skills, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Occasional driving for the organization is required in northern Colorado.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biology, animal behavior, animal husbandry or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum one year in animal welfare or 6 months with the organization in an animal-handling role.
• Customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform animal transports to campuses, partners, and facilities, including emergencies.
• Recruit, train and supervise transport/enrichment volunteers; manage coverage.
• Follow PACFA regulations and guidelines.
• Create and deliver department-specific orientation and training.
• Assess animals for behavioral candidacy and enrichment needs.
• Create animal enrichment plans and client guides.
