Job summary

NOCO Humane in Greeley, CO seeks a Pet Adoption Supervisor to lead adoption operations, educate clients, and ensure excellent animal care. The role includes supervising staff, maintaining records, and supporting compliance across shelter functions.

The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree or equivalent and supervisory experience. Bilingual skills are a plus; the position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 1 year of proven staff supervisory or lead experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in animal welfare or related field.
• Hands-on experience with companion animals.
• Must be at least 21 years of age; bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee adoption processes and client education; ensure accurate records and high-quality service.
• Manage opening/closing duties, data entry, transactions, and license sales.
• Handle client grievances with professional de-escalation.
• Oversee daily animal care routines and timely medical/behavioral responses.
• Supervise staff and volunteers; scheduling, training, evaluation, and coaching.
