Job summary

Clear Creek County is seeking an Animal Shelter Attendant to care for dogs and cats, help with daily shelter operations, and support animal control activities. Responsibilities include feeding, cleaning, basic medical tasks, and assisting with adoptions or impoundment processes.

Responsibilities

• Feed and water animals according to schedules and instructions.
• Clean and disinfect cages, pens, and yards; maintain shelter grounds.
• Assist with administrative tasks including records management and data entry.
• Assist customers and law enforcement with handling and impounding animals.
• Conduct dog behavior evaluations and document findings.
• Transport animals to and from veterinarian and receive donations.
