As an Animal Nutrition Client Support Specialist, you will lead sales efforts across the Midwestern agricultural market, from the I-29 corridor to Indiana, providing technical support to producers and partners. You’ll manage key accounts, drive growth, and collaborate with internal teams to exceed customer expectations. You’ll partner with new and existing producers and feed consultants to deliver value-driven solutions that improve on-farm success. This is a technical sales position with a blend of salary plus incentive. Incentive is based on individual performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of the customer base and market dynamics
• Represent Rock River Laboratory at industry conferences and trade association meetings, providing technical insight on animal nutrition to nutritionists and dairy producers.
• Execute sales initiatives to achieve established revenue and territory growth goals.
• Build and maintain consultative relationships with clients to promote value-based selling of Rock River Laboratory’s services.
• Collaborate with customer service and laboratory teams to proactively address customer needs and exceed service expectations.
• Work closely with sales and marketing leadership to define sales targets and develop marketing strategies that align with company objectives.
• Utilize CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools to manage account data, track opportunities, and report sales activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational success.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s in Agribusiness, Animal Nutrition, or related field
• 5+ years of sales experience in agriculture or animal health/nutrition
• Strong knowledge of dairy production systems
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel up to 75% (includes overnight stays)
• Experience with ration balancing software and technical presentations
