Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Animal Science, Psychological Science, or related field.
• Candidates without a degree may qualify with 6+ years of directly related experience.
• ALAT, LATG, or CMAR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs operations for housing, handling, and care of live animals and maintains facility schedules.
• Hires and supervises animal care staff and student workers.
• Ensures daily care procedures and health checks; maintains regulatory records.
• Engages with faculty researchers and IACUC to ensure compliance.
• Develops and enforces standard operating procedures and emergency plans.
