• Directly supervise ACO field operations and plan/direct activities to maximize efficiency.
• Assist in hiring and training Animal Control Officers.
• Evaluate job performance and conduct annual reviews.
• Administer corrective training and discipline as needed.
• Provide field operation training and ensure staff certifications.
• Coordinate with shelter, law enforcement, and external agencies.
• Respond to citizen inquiries and after-hours call-outs.
• Prepare documents for court when required and testify as needed.
• Monitor safety procedures and ensure compliance with health guidelines.
• Assist with shelter operations including care and adoptions as necessary.
