Job summary

Indiana University Health North Hospital in Carmel, IN seeks an Anesthetist Clinical Manager to lead community anesthesia teams. You will collaborate with Clinical Director and service line leaders to advance workforce development, recruitment, and onboarding initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinical Director, service line leadership, and physician leadership in workforce development planning
• Coordinate recruitment with the recruitment team and service line administration
• Coordinate with onboarding team for provider enrollment
• Develop onboarding plans
• Develop orientation plans for new hires
• Perform 30- and 90-day retention meetings with new APP providers
• Review Value Based Compensation quarterly as applicable
• Adjust Value Based Compensation annually as applicable
• Review and monitor NRC scores and service line data
• Sit on service line leadership meetings (ex: RMD, SLA)
• Complete annual reviews and Performance Development Conversations
• Coordinate didactic learning opportunities to foster professional growth
• Develop and implement Performance Improvement Plans
• Meet with local leadership monthly and as needed
• Meet with APP team individually and collectively as needed to ensure timely dissemination of information
• Complete appropriate UKG Pro activities as needed or delegate as appropriate
• Complete appropriate Oracle activities as needed or delegate as appropriate
• Verify and approve expense reports or delegate as appropriate
• Coordinate resources to meet inpatient and outpatient quality initiatives as appropriate
• Maintain APP schedule to ensure clinical operations are maintained
• Perform peer review
• Review and modify protocols and processes for improvement
• Collaborate with service line leaders to identify annual clinical goals and process improvement initiatives and execute plans to accomplish these goals
• Attend Leadership Development Institute
• Monitor and promote APP productivity
