Job summary

Sunnybrook Dentistry & Braces - a Benevis company is seeking a Mobile Anesthesiologist to support pediatric in-office surgery days alongside our Pediatric Dentist. You will provide anesthesia care for children in a dental setting, ensuring safe, comfortable experiences.

Qualified candidates have completed an accredited Anesthesiology Residency, hold a valid license, and possess certifications such as PALS, BLS, and DEA.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
• PALS, BLS, DEA certifications as appropriate.
• Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
• Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level anesthesia care to pediatric patients during office-based surgery days, ensuring positive and impactful experiences.
• Deliver specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist.
• Work collaboratively with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through anesthetic administration and airway management.
• Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with physical or cognitive disabilities.
