Job summary

Benevis is seeking a Mobile Anesthesiologist to support our pediatric dentistry program during in-office surgery days. You will provide high-level anesthesia care for children, collaborating with Pediatric Dentists and dental teams to ensure safety, comfort, and positive experiences.

This role offers flexible scheduling as part-time or independent contractor work across multiple clinics, with competitive compensation and opportunities to impact young patients' lives.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
• PALS, BLS, DEA certifications as applicable.
• Experience with IV deep sedation and general anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level anesthesia care to pediatric patients during office-based surgery days.
• Deliver specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments.
• Collaborate with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through anesthetic administration and airway management.
• Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety or disabilities.

• Provide high-level anesthesia care to pediatric patients during office-based surgery days, ensuring positive and impactful experiences.
• Deliver specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist.
• Work collaboratively with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
• Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
• Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, and others as appropriate.
• Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
• Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
