Job summary

Benevis, a national leader in compassionate dental care, seeks a Mobile Anesthesiologist to support pediatric in-office surgeries with a Pediatric Dentist.

The role offers flexible scheduling, including part-time and independent contractor arrangements, across multiple clinics, with a focus on safety, comfort, and teamwork to deliver high-quality care to children.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
• PALS, BLS, and DEA certifications.
• Experience delivering IV deep sedation and general anesthesia.
• Ability to collaborate with dental teams including surgeons and nurses.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients during office-based surgery days.
• Deliver specialized anesthesiology services in a dental practice setting.
• Collaborate with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation and airway management.
• Support children with dental anxiety or disabilities requiring deeper anesthesia.

We are seeking a Mobile Anesthesiologist to be an integral part of this mission, supporting our Pediatric Dentist during in-office surgery days.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level anesthesia care to pediatric patients during office-based surgery days, ensuring positive and impactful experiences.
• Deliver specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments alongside a Pediatric Dentist.
• Work collaboratively with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through skilled anesthetic administration and airway management.
• Focus on patients who require more than local anesthesia, such as children with dental anxiety, pediatric patients, or those with specific physical or cognitive disabilities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
• Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, and others as appropriate.
• Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
• Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
