Job Summary and Qualifications

The Anesthesia Technician supports anesthesia care by preparing supplies, maintaining equipment, and assisting during surgeries. Collaborating with the perioperative team, they ensure a safe and efficient patient experience.

• Prepare and organize equipment and supplies for surgeries.
• Review surgical schedules to ensure readiness.
• Transport and set up equipment needed for procedures.
• Ensure equipment is decontaminated and functional.
• Handle medications, IV fluids, and contrast media following procedures.
• Perform timely room turnovers, including cleaning, restocking, and equipment maintenance.
• Proficiently care for equipment and respond to on-call situations.

Qualifications Needed:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
