Job summary

The Ohio State University Medical Center seeks an Anesthesia Technician to join the James Operating Rooms. You will set up, check, inspect, maintain and calibrate a variety of anesthesia equipment, ensuring safety and reliability for the anesthetic process.

Fulfilling this role involves coordinating anesthesia and auto transfusion services, providing instrumental support to physicians and hospital staff, and maintaining organized, stocked work areas in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 months patient care experience or equivalent requested.
• 3 months experience with medical equipment or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, check, inspect, maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment.
• Coordinate anesthesia and auto transfusion services and provide logistical support.
• Support OR and approved anesthetizing locations to ensure patient safety and efficient care.
