Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support CRNA and anesthesia teams in the operating room, ensuring supplies and equipment are ready and properly stocked.

This full-time position is 40 hours weekly with a Sunday–Thursday 10:00a–6:30p schedule and a pay range of $19.80–$29.70 per hour. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED; BLS within 90 days; and anesthesia department or nursing assistant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Anesthesia Department or Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
• BLS (adult and child) required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for diverse surgical patient ages from newborn to elderly.
• Checks/restocks anesthesia carts and equipment to maintain par levels.
• Performs anesthesia machine checks and demonstrates competency.
• Assists with line placement and supports during critical events.
