Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the operating room teams at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Anesthesiology. The role involves stocking carts, checking equipment, and assisting anesthesia providers with lines and positioning during surgeries.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and BLS within 90 days. Prior anesthesia department or nursing assistant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS (adult and child) required within 90 days of employment.
• Anesthesia Department or Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock anesthesia carts and supplies.
• Perform anesthesia machine checks and ensure equipment is functional.
• Assist CRNA/Anesthesiologist with lines and procedures.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of anesthesia equipment.
• Position patients for anesthetic procedures and assist in room setup.
