Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team and surgical staff, ensuring equipment is ready and the patient environment is safe and comfortable throughout procedures.

You will assist with transfers, positioning, and monitoring, while maintaining strict infection control and patient privacy. The role emphasizes teamwork and rapid response in emergencies in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• 2 Years Of Experience Is Preferred
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need
• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
• Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights
