Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital in Hudson, FL is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team and surgical staff, ensuring equipment is prepared, sterile, and ready for procedures. This role requires Monday-Friday 6:30 - 3:00 and contributes to a high-volume, acute care environment.

You will assist with transfers, positioning, monitoring devices, and respond promptly to emergencies while upholding patient privacy and safety throughout the perioperative journey.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• Prefer some patient care experience, preferable hospital based

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need
• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
• Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights
