Job summary

St. Davids Round Rock Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia and surgical teams in Round Rock, Texas.

You will prep and organize equipment, transport carts, assist with patient transfers and monitoring, and respond quickly to emergencies while upholding infection control and patient privacy. ACLS within 30 days, High School/GED, and one year of anesthesia tech experience required to join our comprehensive benefits and retirement

Qualifications

• One year of Anesthesia Tech experience.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need
• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
• Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights
