Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking an Anesthesia Technician II to support the anesthesia department on the Day shift in Ohio. You will calibrate anesthesia machines, maintain carts, and assist with arterial/CVP lines, cell saver, and airway equipment.

The role requires teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR within 6 months of hire, and 1 year of anesthesia tech experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia technician experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Calibrates anesthesia machine and verifies monitor function under supervision to ensure patient safety.
• Maintains anesthesia carts and restocks supplies daily.
• Sets up arterial, CVP, and Swan-Ganz lines and fluid/blood warmer.
• Prepares and maintains cell saver equipment.
• Respects the Difficult Intubation Cart and maintains laryngoscopes and related tools.
• Supports OR team and participates in patient care as directed.
