Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an anesthesia technician to coordinate and provide technical support to the anesthesia team. The role requires proficiency in sterile technique, OR protocols, and hospital IT systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant surgical tech training or equivalent experience. Two to three years of anesthesia technician experience is preferred, with BLS within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a formal CAAHEP-recognized surgical tech program or equivalent.
• In lieu of degree, at least two years’ anesthesia tech/OR related experience required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols.
• Proficiency with departmental computer systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide technical support to Anesthesiologists and Nurse Anesthetists.
