• Knowledge of anesthesia practices, aseptic technique, and equipment setup/cleaning.
• Assist with equipment needs, setup of IV fluids, monitoring, and emergency support.
• Ensure availability and proper functioning of anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Support anesthesia providers during procedures and emergencies.
• Maintain inventory, cleanliness, and safety of anesthesia areas.
• Perform Point of Care testing and assist with budget and supply management.
• Assist with training and role modeling for new staff.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Anesthesiology Technology or Medical Assisting with certification, or equivalent education and licensure.
• At least 1 year of nursing assistant or patient care experience.
• Current applicable licensure and BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Physical & Work Environment

• Prolonged standing, ability to lift 40 pounds, wear protective gear.
• Work in a clinical environment with standard safety precautions.

Skills & Abilities

• Follow directions, work well with others, understand cardiac and hemodynamic procedures.
• Perform technical duties in complex clinical situations.
• Prioritize tasks effectively and maintain infection control standards.
