Job Description - ANESTHESIA TECHNICIAN - (Temple University Hospital/40 hours days) (252419)

Assists all anesthesiology patient-care providers by performing duties such as:

1. Daily stocking of anesthesia supplies and non-controlled medications;
2. Removal of used supplies, equipment, and medications;
3. Cleaning of all equipment;
4. Removal of outdated supplies and non-controlled medications.

This support is provided across all locations serviced by the Anesthesiology Department. The technician collaborates with colleagues (anesthesiology, OR, EVS) to ensure all equipment is clean, tested, and functional, promoting a safe and efficient patient care environment. Additionally, works with the team to reduce turnover time in ORs and procedural areas, contributing to an efficient schedule.

Minimum Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Trade School: Surgical Technician (Preferred)

Experience

At least 1 year of experience with anesthesia-related equipment and daily stocking of anesthesia supplies (Required)

Licenses/Certifications

• ASATT - American Society of Anesthesia Technicians (Preferred)
