Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System in Bell Hospital is seeking an Anesthesia Technician Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and ensure high quality patient care under the Anesthesia Technician Manager. You will coordinate staffing, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technicians to improve productivity and patient outcomes.

Candidates should have 5+ years as an anesthesia tech, HS diploma, and ASATT/ACLS/BLS credentials;

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 5+ years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in lieu of Cer AT/Cer ATT.
• Associates Degree OR Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains current knowledge of and ensures compliance with all regulatory and professional standards of care.
• Develops, prepares and monitors the personnel staffing schedules.
• Collaborates with the Manager, Director and Physician leadership to establish patient care standards and evaluates staff compliance.
• Serves as a mentor for excellence in clinical practice and patient and employee satisfaction.
• Maintains a safe and caring environment for patients that is conducive to positive health teaching and maintenance.
• Assists with hiring, education and performance evaluation of the staff.
• Creates and maintains a supportive work environment for the entire team.
• Creates and maintains an atmosphere of respect and courtesy toward patients, staff and colleagues.
