Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking an Anesthesia Technician (PRN) to support the anesthesia team and surgical staff. You will help ensure procedures run safely by preparing equipment, transporting carts, and maintaining readiness for use.

The role emphasizes patient transfers, monitoring device setup, and prompt response to emergencies, upholding infection prevention and patient privacy standards in a busy surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• No Travel Required
• 1 years experience Required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need
• Set up, transport, and maintain anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use
• Assist patients with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Act quickly and confidently if an emergency happens
• Keep the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Communicate openly with patients, families, and the team while protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights
