Job summary

Texas Health Resources in Plano, TX seeks an Anesthesia Technician II PRN to support anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases, assist with room and equipment setup, maintain sterile environments, and ensure smooth delivery of anesthesia services in a technology‑driven operating suite.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, CAT certification on hire, BCLS and ACLS within 90 days, and one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• CAT - Certified Anesthesia Tech required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 Days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provides support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Provides support to anesthesia staff with preparation of room and equipment needed for patient care.
• Protects patient and personal safety by following department processes, maintaining a sterile environment and understanding equipment function.
• Maintains supply, equipment and pharmacy inventory to optimize delivery of anesthesia services. Maintains cleanliness and proper function of anesthesia equipment and workroom.
• Daily computer support. Troubleshoots equipment. Able to support Anesthesiologist in Optime.

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
