Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the Anesthesia Care Team in surgical suites, maintaining equipment and restocking stands. You will participate in critical anesthesia phases and ensure timely, safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
• Certified Anesthesia Technician preferred.
• Graduate of Anesthesia Technician program or related program preferred.
• 1+ years of experience preferred if not a graduate or certified technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide service where needed for the Anesthesia clinical provider.
• Set up OR for demanding cases with equipment and supplies per licensing restrictions.
• Perform quality control tests for point of care testing.
• Responsible for supply and inventory of equipment and reporting repairs.
• Assist in preparation and draping of patient for invasive monitoring/procedures.
• Assist anesthesia provider with volume infusions during intraoperative resuscitation.
