Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Anesthesia Tech (PRN) to support the anesthesia team at Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery in Plano, TX. You will assist in room setup, equipment prep, and patient care across routine and urgent cases in a fast-paced environment.

Requires a high school diploma, at least 1 year anesthesia experience if possible, and BCLS certification. This role offers a collaborative team culture, opportunities for growth, and benefits including 401k and EAP.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 Year Anesthesia experience (Strongly Preferred).
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provides support to anesthesia providers during routine and urgent surgical cases and procedures to ensure quality patient care.
• Provides support to anesthesia staff with preparation of room and equipment needed for patient care.
• Protects patient and personal safety by following department processes, maintaining a sterile environment and understanding equipment function.
• Maintains supply, equipment and pharmacy inventory to optimize delivery of anesthesia services.
• Maintains cleanliness and proper function of anesthesia equipment and workroom.
• Able to support Anesthesiologist in Optime.
