Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an Anesthesia Tech to support anesthesia and nursing teams in surgical and procedural areas. You will handle patient needs, assist with blood, medications, supplies, and equipment, and ensure sterile, stocked ORs and pre/post rooms.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of clinical experience, English proficiency, computer skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of clinical/hospital experience.
• Proficient in speaking and reading English.
• Computer skills required.
• Self-directed and able to make independent decisions.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Support anesthesia and nursing teams with patient-care, safety and technical duties.
• Respond to patient needs including blood, medications, supplies and equipment during procedures.
• Operate surgical equipment under licensed provider direction.
• Ensure ORs and pre/post rooms are stocked and prepared; maintain infection control.
