University Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to assist the anesthesia team in preparing equipment and supplies for operating rooms, maintaining inventory, and supporting complex surgical and non-surgical cases. The role involves setting up lines, monitoring devices, and ensuring aseptic technique throughout procedures.

The technician helps position patients, assists with intubation, and supports transport to recovery, while adhering to HIPAA and hospital policies.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College coursework in Anatomy, Physiology, and Microbiology preferred.
• Prior anesthesia technician or patient-care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ASAT certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for operating rooms.
• Stock rooms and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist anesthesia providers with patient setup and turnover between cases.
• Assist with lines and monitoring equipment, including IVs, A-lines, and central lines.
• Transport patients to recovery and support patient safety throughout procedures.
