Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an Anesthesia Tech to support anesthesia and nursing teams in surgical areas. Responsibilities include responding to patient needs, supplying equipment, and maintaining OR readiness.

This nonexempt, full-time role offers opportunities for growth within Mayo Clinic’s Minnesota campuses. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and English proficiency; preferred: CNA/PCA and prior surgical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1+ year clinical/hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient in speaking and reading English; computer skills required.
• Surgical area experience and direct patient care preferred; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesia and nursing teams during surgeries and patient care.
• Prepare and restock ORs and pre/post rooms with supplies and equipment.
• Maintain infection control and operate surgical equipment under supervision.
• Assist in patient intake including vitals and monitoring devices.
