Job summary

UCI Health in Irvine, CA is seeking an Anesthesia Tech to assist the anesthesiologists with monitoring line placement, intubations, and other procedures as appropriate. You will maintain and stock anesthesia supplies and equipment, perform basic maintenance, calibrations, and coordinate with OR Manager and Biomedical Engineering to keep gear safe and ready.

The role requires the ability to work quickly under pressure, strong organization, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Availability to rotate shifts, take call and work weekends.
• Demonstrated experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or a fast paced OR environment.
• Basic mathematical skills to quickly and accurately add, subtract, divide, and multiply.

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists with placement of monitoring lines and intubations as appropriate.
• Maintain, order, and stock anesthesia supplies and equipment.
• Provide first line equipment maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are within expiration dates and clean.
