Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers by preparing and setting up equipment and supplies for each surgical case. You will connect monitoring lines, prepare infusion sets, and operate common monitors as part of the perioperative team.

Under direct supervision of a registered perioperative nurse, you may assist with limited patient care and prepping before surgery.

Qualifications

• 2 years of clinical experience in an accredited hospital with operating room or as an Anesthesia Technician.
• Completion of Anesthesia Technology Degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up equipment and supplies for each surgical case, including connecting monitoring lines and preparing infusion sets.
• Operate common physiological monitors as required for procedures.
• Assist with prepping and opening supplies before surgery as needed.
