Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team in preparing equipment, assisting with procedures, and maintaining supplies. You will work under anesthesiologists and CRNAs to ensure smooth operations and sterile environments across procedures.

The role emphasizes equipment troubleshooting, readiness for various patient populations, and collaboration with nurses and physicians to uphold safety standards.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program preferred.
• College or coursework in Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, or related fields preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in a hospital or surgical setting preferred.
• 1-2 years of LVN experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares anesthetizing locations by setting up, calibrating, and maintaining monitoring devices and anesthesia equipment for scheduled procedures.
• Assists anesthesia providers with aseptic or sterile techniques during procedures, including airway management and IV/arterial line placement.
• Monitors and reports abnormal changes in patient vitals or appearance to anesthesia providers.
• Obtains and stocks anesthesia supplies in ORs and other procedural areas to ensure readiness.
• Assists with laboratory tests and results, including ABGs and ACTs.
