Qualifications

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Licensure: CPR required; may be certified as OR Technician/Certified Anesthesia Technician or have at least 1 year in surgical services.
• Experience: 1 year in acute health care setting, preferably in the operating room.
• Skills: Manual dexterity; interpret information for age-appropriate patient care; select proper instrumentation/supplies.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles, and maintains anesthesia equipment.
• Monitors and tests anesthesia equipment to ensure efficient OR operation.
• Ensure supplies are available to perform anesthesia services and adapt to patient age-specific needs.
