UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the CVIR/OR team. You will operate and maintain anesthesia equipment, assist during anesthesia induction, and aid in patient transport and monitoring throughout procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year hospital experience or ASATT certification, and BLS. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of related hospital experience or Certified Anes Tech.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required or preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and inspect CVIR/OR anesthesia machines.
• Assist the Anesthesiologist during induction and transport of patients.
• Set up invasive monitoring lines and dressing application per patient age.
• Perform blood gas analysis and distribute results to CVIR/OR.
• Ensure proper end-of-procedure decontamination and turnover of equipment.
