Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking an anesthesia technician to join the surgical team in the OR. You will support anesthesia providers by preparing equipment, connecting monitoring lines, and handling infusion sets and monitors to ensure smooth case flow.

Under supervision of a registered perioperative nurse, you may assist with prepping supplies and basic patient care as needed. AHA BLS on hire, plus experience in an accredited hospital's OR, are required.

Qualifications

• BLS - American Heart Association required upon hire.
• 2 years of clinical experience in an accredited hospital with operating room, or Anesthesia Technology Degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment for each case.
• Connect monitoring lines and ensure proper functioning of monitors.
• Assist with prepping and opening supplies before surgery.
