Job summary

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ, seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesia team by preparing equipment, assisting with procedures, and maintaining supplies. This role works under supervision of anesthesiologists and CRNAs to ensure smooth operations in all patient populations.

You will set up monitors, calibrate devices, assist with airway management, manage lab tests like ABGs, and help transport patients as needed. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician program preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician in a hospital or surgical setting preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices for procedures.
• Assist anesthesia providers with aseptic techniques and airway management.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report abnormalities to providers.
• Stock and deliver anesthesia supplies across ORs and procedural areas.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
