Job summary

Luminis Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technologist to assist anesthesia providers across multiple hospital locations. You will maintain and organize the anesthesia workspace, equipment, and supplies, and support the anesthesia team during induction, emergence, and invasive procedures.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree or equivalent, completion of an accredited Anesthesia Technician Program, and at least 2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent required.
• Completion of accredited Anesthesia Technician Program.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technologist.
• ASATT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare anesthesia machines and perform daily quality checks.
• Troubleshoot and maintain anesthesia equipment systems.
• Set up and maintain anesthesia machines, instruments and supplies for procedures.
• Assist providers with induction and emergence under supervision.
• Assist in sterile preparation for invasive lines and dispose/prepare items per SOPs.
• Maintain aseptic technique during invasive procedures.
• Anticipate equipment needs for invasive monitoring and emergencies.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
