Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Henderson, NV is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesiologists and CRNAs, ensuring safe, sterile prep and equipment readiness for surgical procedures.

The role includes cleaning equipment, stocking supplies, and maintaining safety standards while assisting in patient care under supervision. A minimum two years in anesthesia or critical care is preferred, with BLS required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years anesthesia or critical care background preferred.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment used in job responsibilities.
• BLS required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Performs delegated functions under supervision of an Anesthesiologist, CRNA or RN.
• Ensures safe, effective cleaning of all equipment per safety and infection control standards.
• Orders and prepares supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Adheres to Universal Precautions and Standards of Care; patient age may range from neonate to geriatric.
