Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Anesthesia Technician to support the surgical team under supervision of an anesthesiologist, CRNA, or RN. You will ensure safe, sterile handling of equipment, prepare supplies, and maintain infection control standards to support patient care across age groups from neonate to geriatric.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least two years of anesthesia or critical care experience if possible, and a current BLS certification; strong

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years anesthesia or critical care background preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to operate or learn operating room equipment.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of an anesthesiologist, CRNA or RN, provide safe, effective cleaning of all equipment and ensure infection control standards.
• Order and prepare supplies and equipment as needed for surgical procedures in preparation.
• Observe Universal Precautions and meet Standards of Care; care to patients from neonate to geriatric.
